How to survive hay-fever season?

Hello! It’s starting to get warmer and with that comes red weezy eyes, running noses and plenty of sneezes. Unfortunately for my mum she’s gets it quite bad but she’s not allowed to take hay fever tablets due to other medical reasons. Do you have any non-medical ways to survive the hay-fever season that I can pass on to her?

All the best, Leia

I think I read somewhere that hay fever often get better if the air isn't to dry. Using an air humidifier indoor might Help then.

I believe using an air purifier would Help indoors. Especially to get a good night's sleep when you have hay fever or asthma. I got one from Coway that is recommended by the Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association.

Sunglasses during the day might Help as less pollen would get to the eyes? And making sure to brush off clothes which might capture pollen on them throughout the day.
