How do...?

How can I learn statistics on my own?

For the internship, I need to learn some basic statistics and after that, econometrics.

Does anyone know of an online free course (or an inexpensive one)?

I work very well with structures and deadlines, that is why I like learning in a classroom setting rather than self study but I wasn’t able to get into any statistics courses this semester.

Have you looked at iTunes U? There are plenty of statistics courses and material there.

I've heard SkillShare is a good website that has loads of videos which you can learn from, they usually have an inexpensive starter membership offer going on too.

https://www.skillshare.com/browse/statistics

#2: Oh, iTunes U is an incredible resource. Many world renowned universities put their courses there for anyone to take. Completely free.

I decided to try out Kahn academy! Ill let you all know how it goes. So far it is accessible and user friendly. I tried Udacity too but it was quite annoying to use. I couldn’t find iTunes U on my Mac. I think it is me only for ipad?

I think there is an Apple Podcasts app in the Mac App Store and that you can find iTunes U there.

#1 looks like a great resource. Econometrics will be tough to teach yourself. But I habe never tried this type of online course.

#7 Thankfully, my boyfriend studied financial mathematics so he can explain things when I get stuck 😊 But I agree it will be hard.
