How to clean a candle jar?

Image 1. Click to open in original size.

Hello!!

I have treated myself to loads of candles this Christmas. My room smells so good all the time, my favourite festive scents this year have been gingerbread, vanilla sugar cookies and winter spice.

But now I've been left with quite a few jars with smoke stains and wax stuck to the bottom, does anyone have any good cleaning tips or any idea of what I could use the jars for afterwards?

All the best, Leia

Get an old pot at a second hand store and use it to boil some water and let the wax melt off when you dip it in the hot water. Use tongs.

Happy creating!

#1: Great idea. The wax will float and if there is a lot of it you can make new candles with it. 🙂

Best regards, Niklas 🎈
