How to use a spoon to stop itching mosquito bites

I haven’t had opportunity to try this out yet, but apparently the protein causing the itch in mosquito bites is heat sensitive. Warm a spoon under hot water and hold it on the mosquito bite. When the protein is destroyed by the heat, the bite will stop itching.

Have you tried this? Post a comment.

I don't even think I've seen a mosquito in years... I can't remember the last time I was bitten by one. Are there still many in Stockholm (cause I kinda thought they were going extinct...)?

I can’t say there are many, and it probably varies, but there are some, although not this late in the year.
