How to optimize storage when you build stairs
Here is another of my brother's storage solutions. He has used the space beneath a staircase to build extra storage. The big one is for hanging clothes like suits and jackets. The other ones are like big drawers without sides. The whole side of the stairs is painted golden in a way that looks like leaf gold.

I really like this threads from your brother's house. So clever! I showed them to my s.o. who got really excited as well haha. We live in an apartment so we can't do stuff like this but it's nice to dream.. 
There are probably other things you could do if you need more storage space.

Yes, of course. We do actually have more storage place than things to store so that's not really a problem but I still really like the idea!
