I read a tip that sounded good. If you are going into areas with high criminal activity, do it in the early mornings. Good people wake up early. Bad people don't. They prefer to go out at night.

This just made me think of my brother. He lived in the Tenderloin (a bad part of San Francisco) during the time he went to college. He said that most of the people had curfew (homeless shelters, etc) so he never had a problem during night time. It is during the day time when there is more activity on the streets, in that particular neighbourhood anyway. Laughing out loud
