How much weight can surgu hold, for example, if I were to hang a large picture frame on a wall?

#1: I don't know. It also depends on the surface. I guess the risk if it losing its grip is greater if you stick it to a wall with wallpaper than on a solid wall.

This is what I want to hang (not a picture frame like I initially asked, I didnt know how to explain it) but I could make it lighter it I pour out some water. It weighs almost 3kg now. And sugrus website says it will hold 4.4lb or 2kg. But I found some sugru sold from the US amazon site which says it holds 5kg.

I think you could use Sugru for that. Remember that every mounting point should be able to hold the specified weight. Four mounting points are 4 x 2 kg.

The Sugru may leave marks on the wall when removed.

If you use white sugru on a white wall you probably won't see anything when you remove it.

Im not worried about the marks since its just a student apartment lol. It looked bad when we got here. But i did want to buy the white so it was less visible. So how much do you reckon I should buy?
