How to know when hot dogs are done

2017-06-03 13:24 #0 by: Niklas

If you boil them to short they are cold inside and if you boil them to long the skin bursts. How do you know when they are hot enough to take off the stove? The answer is:

When the sausages start to float in the boiling water, then they are hot enough.

I just found out hot dogs are gluten free so this is a great tip! What’s your favourite topping?

I have never heard of boiling hot dogs. 🙈. Sounds so odd to me! I always fry vegan ones in a pan.

When I eat sausages I usually only have mustard and (sometimes) ketchup on them.

#2 really? I've always boiled mine, maybe it is a European thing?

#3 I like ketchup and opinions, but I have seen loaded hotdogs with things like mac and cheese or nachos on top that I would like to try.

#2 I've only known them to be boiled! Usually when they are from a street vendor, the chances are that they are boiled.

#1 Has to be just ketchup for me!
